This Acai Bowl is So Pretty it’s Art

When I first made this acai bowl, I knew it tasted great. My kids even told me so (with actual words).  But then someone sent me a picture from a smoothie shop in Australia of the very picture you see on the website, the picture I took. Guess they thought it looks good too!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 packet frozen acai
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen fruit (berries, mango, etc)
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • 1 TBSP flax seed meal
  • 1 sliced banana
  • ½ cup granola
  • Sprinkle of coconut flakes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend acai, frozen banana, frozen fruit, almond milk and flax seed in high – powered blender. Stir occasionally. Your mixture should be very thick.
  2. Pour into bowl and top with banana, granola and coconut. Or try any favorite topping.
