Growing up in a small town in North Carolina Brooke spent much of her childhood building forts, bossing around the neighborhood kids and rearranging her bedroom once a week.  Two decades later not much has changed except the coast she lives on.  Now a California girl with a little one of her own she is enjoying motherhood and connecting with other moms through her love of arts and crafts. I made these a couple of years ago with my daughter.  We used different sizes of pie plates and put them on the bbq instead of the oven.  I had heard that the smell of the melting beads could be bad so we opted to do it outside instead!  My husband drilled holes in them when we were done and we hung them in the trees, they are still hanging to this day!
