  1. I love the simplicity of canvas pictures on a wall I did this with my first son when he was 3 years old It was soooo much fun for me I painted the canvas the color of the wall Then yes I gave HIM 3 small child brushes and 3 small cans of paint you can get the small sample paints in custom colors at Lowes cheap too The custom colors matched the rest of the room He got to splatter and rub his brushes on the canvas only for a few minutes or all the colors would blend together His room was transformed by modern art and the best thing was he was the artist 11 years later I still have the canvas

  2. Love it Thanks for the don t do it yourself tip I hate when I have to learn the hard way sometimes on these Buying a 5 stencil is so much better than spending 5 hours of your time making a stencil your self as usual loved the video My favorite is still the growth chart but maybe it s because I went out and bought all the supplies to make it for my daughters room

  3. Hi Brooke Super cute ideas thank you I loved the I love you canvas I am going to try something similar I will be sure to Instagram a pic have you tried anything over glass I am thinking about something I could do for my daughters windows in her room The windows are old and maybe it would look less ugly with a picture or stencil painted on

  4. I can t draw to save myself and literally took a butcher knife to the last canvas I tried to paint myself Ha Seriously But the stencil is a great idea I want to make one for our living room shelf

  5. Another awesome video Brooke My son had elephants as his baby nursery theme and now that he is a toddler I m trying to think of what it could be now Whatever it is these canvases will be perfect Does your son have a theme to his room yet

  6. Whenever I have to trace something I turn the brightness of the screen up so it s easier to see through the paper and then lightly trace it with the paper directly on the screen I love these DIYs so much Also Lincoln is adorable

  7. My favforite was the growth chart, i made one for daniel's ( my baby ) nursery and he love it!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

  8. This is such a great project! My favorite was "I Love You I Love You…" If you have a Cricut machine, you can do the stencil yourself on their stencil making material. Tip…weave the middle of the letters out before painting to save time later.
