DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS HERE: 3 Simple Balloon Activities Your Kids Will Love

Magic Balloons
– Empty water bottle
– Vinegar
– Baking soda
– Funnel
– Balloon

1. Fill an empty water bottle with 1/3 vinegar.
2. Using a funnel, add 2-3 tablespoons of baking soda into a balloon.
3. Secure the balloon to the water bottle and dump contents from the balloon.
4. Be careful the balloon doesn’t get twisted when the reaction begins or the balloon could pop. Safety goggles are recommended.

Balloon Tennis
• Balloon
• Paper plates
• Popsicle sticks

1. Tape popsicle sticks to two separate paper plates.
2. Inflate balloon, and try to keep it off the ground!

Spinning Dime
• Dime or coin
• Balloon

1. Place coin into deflated balloon.
2. Inflate balloon, and start shaking until coin spins!

    will be trying this with my son as he is balloon mad.

    I do remember when I was younger that my mum use to put lollies/ jelly beans into balloons before a birthday party and then all the kids had to pop the balloons to get as many lollies as they can.

  2. It is very dangerous to let your kids play with balloons! They can swallow parts of broken balloons or even a whole balloon in their attempt to blow them up. It's very fun to play with balloons but also very dangerous so be carefull.
