About Us

With over 1.5 million subscribers and over 30 million views per month, What’s Up Moms is the #1 Parenting Network on YouTube, producing highly relatable how-to and short form comedic videos geared toward women. Started by mom friends hoping to give other moms the information they were seeking, WUM has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Fast Company, and numerous online sites such as HuffPost, BuzzFeed, and Yahoo.

Our Team

Elle Walker

Elle started WUM after searching for how-to videos as a new mom and wanting more. A digital media veteran, she reconnected with Stanford classmate, Meg Resnikoff and the rest is (well-documented) history. In addition to directing videos for companies such as Motts, Disney, Kohler, Glad and frequently serving a YouTube brand panelist, Elle is extremely passionate about helping other moms share their well-earned expertise. Her favorite comment is “That’s my life too!” and is thankful for how WUM’s growing network of influencers have added to her own parenting experience. Elle’s daughter Presley (5), son Ford (3), Tess (9 months) and her (usually cooperative) husband Ross are often featured in her Tips and Day-In-Life vlogs.

Meg Resnikoff

Meg grew up in Connecticut and when she wasn’t busy pretending to be a mom, she was in the kitchen learning family recipes. She won over her husband, Alan, whom she met her freshman year at Stanford, with some very fancy home cooked meals. After working in finance and strategy for Gap and NBC-Universal, Meg returned to Stanford where she earned her MBA. Now with three kids of her own (Avery, 7; Brooks, 5 and Ryder 2), Meg’s husband doesn’t see too many of those fancy meals. But her kids eat very well! She believes good food is all it takes to make a friend, and she is grateful for all the friends she has made through her videos.

Brooke Mahan

Growing up in a small town in North Carolina Brooke spent much of her childhood building forts, bossing around the neighborhood kids and rearranging her bedroom once a week. Two decades later not much has changed except the coast she lives on. Now a California girl with a little one of her own she is enjoying motherhood (Lincoln 3; Calvin 11 months) and connecting with other moms through her love of arts and crafts. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She is passionate about discovering unique and inexpensive ways to create beautiful things. And she spends way too much time at Michaels.

Liane Mullin

Growing up in Minnesota, Liane has always had an entrepreneurial spirit that spanned from having a neighborhood monopoly on mailbox washing to starting a coffee shop her senior year of high school. At WUM, Liane leads the company’s daily operation, as well as plays a critical role in creating new strategic alliances, distribution channels and content partnerships. Prior to joining WUM, Liane started and ran the Digital Department for over 9 years at Full Picture. During this time she created compelling original content and branded entertainment with distribution across many of the top tier digital portals including Aol, Yahoo!, MSN and YouTube. She managed strategic partnerships with a variety of brands such as L’Oreal, Samsung, JetBlue and Mott’s by successfully integrating them into digital programs. Liane previously worked at Creative Artists Agency and Sony Pictures Entertainment. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Alex Jones

Alex grew up in Northern California. After graduating from UCLA, he worked as a freelance cinematographer, until a part-time gig with some crazy moms became much more. In addition to filming, editing, and coordinating production for WUM, Alex often takes on additional roles; some (playdate entertainer) more exciting than others (diaper bag carrier, hair stylist, babysitter). But no matter what role he’s playing, Alex is family. He is also the only member of the team with his own hashtag. #hotguyfromwhatsupmoms
